Bayern have said Che will be part of the Under-19 squad, but will also have training opportunities with the reserve squad, which play in the German third division.
The deal was possible before the age of 18, the usual minimum age for international transfers, as Che is also a German citizen, Bayern said.
Bayern signed a defender Chris Richards of Dallas in 2019 after a similar loan spell. Richards has since played eight games for Bayern and made his debut for the US national team in November.
“With Chris Richards we have had great experiences with the talents of our partner club. Justin is a young center-back with a lot of potential, as he has recently shown in training. We initially plan to have him in our U19 squad, but Justin will also have the opportunity to prove himself by training with the fans. We can’t wait to see how Justin plays out over the next few months, ”said Jochen Sauer, academy director from Bayern. stated in a team statement.
